Hi! My name is Sarah 😊 I’m 28 years old and a Canadian–Italian dual citizen. I moved to Italy permanently last spring and am now based in Garbagnate Milanese. I’m a native English speaker and currently taking Italian lessons. I am seeking a full-time (30+ hours/week) position where I can provide consistent, reliable support to a family. I’m currently finishing the final courses of my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Trinity Western University, all online and asynchronous, which allows me to maintain a flexible schedule - this degree involved a heavy focus on childhood development. I've always been great with kids, it is something that has come very naturally to me just given my personality and skillset. I began babysitting in my community at a young age (back then I took babysitting courses, first aid courses etc.), worked as a summer camp counsellor for a few years, and also grew up helping care for my three much younger siblings and supporting my mother in running the household. I’m fun-loving and energetic, while also being organized, attentive, and patient. I want to work as a nanny because I think it is important and meaningful work, I love people (hence my degree choice!) and making a positive impact in the lives of those around me. In addition to childcare, I’m happy to assist with cooking, cleaning, help with animals and general household upkeep. I can also provide English language support if desired.
